In this blog I am going to talk to you about my family. I have a pretty big family if I say so myself. I have four brothers and two sisters. From oldest to youngest their names and ages are: Michael he is 32, Brandon he is 28, Bradley is 27, Bryan would be 25, my sister Brittany would be 23, my sister Tiffany who is 21 and lastly me. I am the baby of them all. I was the last one to move out and everything. It’s kind of bad, but I believe to be more successful than the others. I have most in common with my oldest brother his name is Michael. Our birthdays are the only two in March and I am most like him because we both like to work hard for what we have got. Him and his now wife are thinking about adopting two little boys that have been in foster care for a while now. I also would like to adopt one day but I would also like to have my own kids. As for my other brothers and sister they all have kids and aren’t very stable, which is not very good at all. As you read earlier I said my brother Bryan and my sister Brittany would be those ages, sadly they both passed away on a house fire when they were babies, way before I was even thought of. The pictures I have seen of them when they were babies, they were beautiful. I wish I could have gotten to meet them but I look at it as God needed them up in Heaven.
Aggie, I can feel where your coming from when you are talking about a big family. I come from a big family also. I have 5 brothers and a twin sister. My sister and I are the youngest of the family but we are not identical twins though. You can most defiantly tell us apart. I am alot slimmer and I like to keep my hair long and she doesn't. I have a brother that goes by the nickname "Rabbit" because he is tall like our father and skinny like a bat. I am also the baby of the family because my sister was born before me.
I think we both are on the same track about our family because I also agree with you on me believing that I am the most successful person out of my brothers and sister and defiantly the most stable. I am the only one that has had a job for a very very long period of time. Where I work, I have been their for 14 years. I have four children ages 27,25,22,21. Yeah, I know, Crazy, but Im good with that because most people I know that I went to highschool with are just having their own kids graduate from High School. Oh, and I forgot to mention that I have 6 wonderful grandchildren, but counting also the grandchildren on my husbands side we have 4 more, ten altogether. Sorry to hear about your brother and sister that passed away, God is taking care of them just fine and just remember that they are watching you grow up to be a wonderful and successful person. I also lost a brother to an accident. He passed away because a train hit him while he was crossing over the tracks. At the time the weeds in that area was high and their was no RailRoad Crossing painted on the road or no railings that came down when a train was in the area. To this day though, they have both placed at that railroad crossing.
I think that its wonderful that you want to have children. I believe they will be just like you, kindhearted, successful, and your girls will look like you I bet. I also think that its great that you would think about adopting children also. About 3 years ago when I first met my new husband we had talked about doing that but never proceeded through with it. In a way Im so so glad that I didn't because I am not happy with the way he controls me and uses disrespectful words to try to put me into a negative mood about school. He tells me its not going to get me anywhere. I want to succeed in school, not fail because of the stress.
Alright, so that paper that we are writing over our movie is really hard for me to do. I have no idea how to start it and my mind is kind of on lock right now and doesn't wanna work. So I thought maybe I would come and blog to try and get my writers block to go away. I don't know about anyone else but this paper is kicking my butt. It's really hard for me to get started and to stay on topic and to get it it done. The fact that I have to write 3-4 pages has me going crazy because I am like how in the world am I supposed to write that much over this movie when I don't even know where to begin. Hopefully sooner or later I will have it figured out and my mind will just flow like it is in this bloge because it is 7:15 p.m. and we are supposed to have it completed by tomorrow for class. This just makes me freak out that much more. I should not have waited to get this started but I just have so much going on in my life right now, my nephew is going into foster care, my grandfather is very sick and I have been at home in Lancaster a lot so it is harder for me to get things done. That is no excuse though. This is probably the hardest paper I have ever had to write in my life, even though my movie is The Hunger Games you would think that is would be easy, no, not at all. I hope everyone else is having better luck on their paper!
I totally agree with you Aggie, and Danielle. Even though the paper I had to do was on the Devil Inside and you would of thought that one was going to be easy because it is about exorcism, it wasent. I had ideas on what I wanted to put in my paper. Once I wrote it down I didnt have enough information so I had to start it all back over. I bet I went through more than a dozen pieces of paper writing it out, adding more and rewriting it. Im the kind of person that likes to give examples, so thats what I did and it helped. The girls that edited my paper Thursday though laughed at my title that I had made up asking me where I came up with such a title and I laughed. I had named the title of my paper ASPIRIN-ISM because of the headache it gave me. I worked on this paper for a whole week and finally got the three pages that we needed. When conference day came Mrs. Piro took out a paragraph so back to the drawing board I had to go. I finally got it done though and just glad its over. I have found that their are those days that I can get a lot done and other days, just like you Aggie, where their is to many obsticles or other interferences that stop us from doing what we need to get done. We can tell ourselves that this is no excuss for our actions but things do happen in life. We need to take the time out for ourselves and family because our lifes only live for a certain amount of time. I do hope everything is getting better for you and try to make sure that you take care of yourself also. I would feel disappointed not to see your big happy smiling face not in class.
Hey Aggie! Let me tell you, you and I are on the same page! I have procrastinated so much on this paper. I finally started begin writing my paper the day before conferences. I was up all night trying to figure out what to write. It took me three hours to finally get my rough draft done! I had such bad writers block because I was watching TV and taking so many breaks to eat or just to do something else to keep my mind off this paper. I honestly did not know where to start either. I just began writing and words began to fill my page and I just said hey I guess this is going to be my paper. I struggled really badly with trying to get 3-4 pages. I finally got 3 and maybe two sentence on a page 4. I feel like my problem is I feel like I am giving my opinion the whole time. Grant it I don’t use the word I or your but I still feel like my examples are bad. I think that is where I am going to need the most improvement in order to get an A on this paper. I have The Cabin in the Woods as my movie and let me tell you it is hard to write about. I have seen The Hunger Games before and I feel for you I didn’t pick that one because I did kind of like the movie so I knew I would have trouble writing it. I wish you luck on your paper!
Okay, so I have not been in class for a while now. I have had so much happening in my family and everything, so I’m going tell you about it. Well first off, during the really bad storm, I had to drive with my dad down to Myrtle Beach to get my grandparents. My dad had to drive their RV back up here and I had to drive his car. We had to go get them because my grandpa was getting really, really sick. So we were driving down there and it wasn’t too bad really until we hit Virginia, there was so much snow and there were even blizzard warnings out. It was kind of scary. So we finally made it down there really late at night so we slept. When we woke up the next morning my grandpa was unresponsive. It was so scary, so we call an ambulance and got him to the hospital. They wanted to keep him but my grandpa didn’t want to stay after they got him up. So we went back to the place they were staying and packed everything up and headed back home. There were advisories for high vehicles and the wind in the mountains. So my dad drove about 55 mph all the way home and we had to keep on stopping for my grandpa. A drive that should have only taken nine and a half hours at the most, turned into a sixteen hour drive back home. I was so wore out from this. Then when we got home my mom told my dad and I that my oldest brother was in the hospital with ammonia and couldn’t breathe at all and they had to put a tube down his throat just he could breathe. And then two days later my other brother Bradley got jumped by 5 guys and they beat the crap out of him and broke his jaw, his eye socket and his arm. So he was put in the hospital too. So I have been having a really rough time here lately keeping up on all my school work. It hasn’t been the best. I sure hope everyone is doing a heck of a lot better than I.
